tree | allentown rose garden

11.12.08  |  Personal

today at the exact time my new website was going up the allentown parks department called me to say they were planting the tree for my mom in 30 minutes. i quickly put my coat on, grabbed my camera and ran out the door. i got there before they were there so i walked around the park just taking everything in. of course being fall there are no flowers but i found these small roses that were dried and some how still together from the spring.

here are just some of my random photos that i took for myself.

these are the berries that are on the crab apple tree.

today was sweet and emotional and i am so glad that the tree is there. it has been almost 15 years since my mother passed away and i can truly say that there is not one day that passes by that i don't think of her. i am looking forward to taking the boys there... and sitting on the benches... and watching the branches grow and bloom.

mark & christi

11.12.08  |  Weddings

i have to say that i was looking forward to mark & christi's wedding ever since i met them over our mugs of caramel latte's. they are both such sweet people!

they both got ready at bear creek ski resort so i was able to start with the guys and then head over to the girls getting ready. here are a few of my favorites from the first half of the day.

here is the slideshow. they picked the song!
